Note the quotes around "climbing".
This symbolizes the intent and will to climb, but a lack of ability to
find the route. Maybe it was moved, maybe the new guide book that
looked so promising lied or maybe our orienteering skills were slightly
off. Either way, we didn't find what we were looking for and ended
up wandering around Echo Lake and cussing the people who had enough
money to have "cabins", probably bigger than our house, on such a
beautiful lake. Since we didn't find the rock face we were looking
for, we ended up drowning our sorrows in ribs and apple pie at the Apple
Cafe, and laughing at how much Nate and Jackie were missing out on while
getting rained on in Virginia. The last three pictures area
a tribute to the Falcon family.
